Customer Manager within our Customer Relations team in our Uddingston call centre, you will play your part in managing the resolution of complaints that Customers have had to notify us of in accordance with the appropriate complaint handling procedures and regulations. This may involve several parties to ensure the correct resolution is fair and appropriate for all parties - specifically the Customer and the business
To be really successful in the role, you'll understand what delivers great customer service, be skilled in handling complex customer enquiries, including escalated complaints and have a sound knowledge and understanding of compliance within Financial Conduct Authority regulations.
As a brand ambassador for British Gas, excellent verbal and written skills are essential as you will manage your own workload through a number of channels - telephone, on line and in written correspondence. You'll take responsibility for each customer, looking after their end to end journey through the complaint handling process - exceeding their expectations, protecting our brand reputation and maximise the retention of our customer base.
