We are now looking to recruit a Cash Planning Manager to join our Financial Control and Information Segments team based in Coventry.

Qualifications

What we need from you

Additional Information 

This role can be based in either Nottingham or Coventry with travel.

This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

 

The Cash Planning Manager is responsible for the production of insightful and action-orientated board performance reporting and delivery of quarterly forecasting and associated storyline for a business with a turnover of c£7bn.

 

In this high-profile finance role, you will take the lead on all business partnering where there are material cash and working capital implications.  As part of this you’ll need to actively engage with senior management; identifying working capital opportunities through insightful reporting and analysis.

 

You’ll also be responsible for maintaining the working capital governance framework and ensuring it is fully embedded and adhered to as well as leading in ensuring that the working capital performance and processes for all new commercial ventures are optimised. Delivery of a number of workshops will ensure that you raise the profile of cash and working capital across both finance and the operational business.

 

Coaching and supporting more junior members of staff, you’ll share best practice learnings with them and colleagues from across the wider group, driving further efficiencies in operational performance and delivery of group reporting/ forecasting requirements.

 

Finally, through utilisation of your excellent stakeholder management skills you’ll be able to challenge the business in financial and strategic decision making processes and contribute to maintaining a robust and consistent Business Plan through preparing Board and Senior Stakeholder communications and briefing documents and presenting analysis and insight across the business.
