Experienced in mechanical, electrical, power electronics and hydraulic trouble shooting and maintenance activities.
Have a proven ability to troubleshoot on complex systems.
Ability to work effectively within a small team with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel in some special cases to support other off and onshore sites.
Good IT Office skills and familiarity with delivering maintenance management through SAP.
First Aid at Work, Working at Heights Training / Tower Rescue, offshore survival & offshore medical.
A Full UK Driving Licence.
Good communications skills written and verbal.
Due to the nature of this role a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check will be required.

Based at Humber Gateway Offshore Wind Farm, Grimsby
We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join our Offshore Wind Farm team in Grimsby. The Maintenance Manager will play a Senior Role reporting to the Plant Manager as part of the Leadership Team. You will lead a team of Maintenance Engineers, in the development and delivery of the short, medium and long term maintenance strategies, to ensure the wind farm is maintained in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, maximising the commercial value within compliant requirements.
Support the Humber Gateway Leadership Team in ensuring the site meets its Business Plan Objectives and Deputise for the Plant Manager and Production Manager.
Develop and implement the Maintenance Strategies and Business Plan for all of the wind farm and balance of plant electrical and mechanical assets, to ensure compliance with Law and Company Policy, whilst delivering the Business Objectives.
Manage the team of Maintenance Engineers; prioritising their objectives to serve the short, medium and long term operational performance of the wind farm.
Consider and prioritise the demand on the Maintenance Team, determine and secure the appropriate internal or external resource.
Liaise with and support and internal teams.
Working with the Production Manager, balancing day-to-day operational priorities with the long term objectives.
Develop and implement a strategy for End of Warranty to ensure;
Optimising the best value from our Warranties.
Evidence of defects is captured and formally presented to the supplier.
Suppliers are technically challenged to ensure our assets are well maintained.
Represent E.ON in technical contract meetings.
Prepare for end-of-warranty by developing in-house technical competence within the Maintenance Team.
Make preparations for transition from in-warranty to post-warranty operations and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with internal and external technical standards.
Maintain an update PT-Risk, Process Safety and subsequent technical reporting systems.
Represent the Maintenance Team in site meetings and manage the demands of the wider Humber Gateway Operations Team.
Perform duties as a 33kV Multi-Feed Senior Authorised Person and Control Person.
