Introduction:
Kier Strategic Highways are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join the London Finance Team as part of the LoHAC contract. The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate and carry out the administration and costing functions, ensuring that cost reporting and administration requirements are met accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation, production and presentation of weekly labour, plant and materials costs for all works, and input data into relevant systems to facilitate the production of reports.
* Liaise with appropriate Operations and Commercial personnel in order to ensure all relevant data is received for data input/output.
* Ensure all records are up to date using the appropriate administrative systems. Create record keeping systems as required e.g. job costing sheets and DCP job sheets.
* Assist in raising purchase orders as required.
* Assist Shared Services with invoicing queries on the LoHAC contract.
* Maintenance of fleet and purchase order accruals.
* Carry out administration duties as required e.g. filing, setting up systems, copying, typing and scanning.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Understanding of IT systems and capability to operate systems to a reasonable standard.
* Good communication skills
* Experience in a similar role
