The post holder will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent experience) – and will be required to manage, create and present complex Information Governance and Data Protection programmes and assessments. There will be the requirement to plan and organise a range of complex activities. The post holder will be required to work closely with NHS organisations at a high level to provide excellent customer service. The post holder will be capable of becoming an experienced, highly motivated and innovative Information Governance and Data Protection Specialist who will support NHS staff and third party provider staff across the NHS and health community. Also expected to support the development of Information Governance strategies and p lans in line with the national NHS England and local IG standards.
