We offer specialist expertise across a number of sectors including:

Water: As experts on the construction and maintenance of clean and waste water and industrial water networks we ensure the efficient operation of the water services for consumer, agricultural and industrial users.
Electricity: Kier has been a long-term collaborative partner to distribution network operators and other companies, enhancing and assuring the reliability of power distribution networks, from customer connections through to capital projects.  
Gas:  We offer a full range of services on low, intermediate and medium pressure distribution and high-pressure transmission networks; specialising in distribution operations, installing new PE and steel gas mains and undertaking mains replacement, new connections and governor replacement programmes.
Telecommunications: From our customer-focused Field Force through our high-quality fibre-to-the-home design and build solutions, we build the backbone infrastructure to keep your customers connected and satisfied
Multi-Utility Design and Civils Projects: Our capability allows us to alleviate risk in utilities in the enabling and future phases of infrastructure project or land development.

Some Utilities facts

Customer Careline: We offer a 24/7 x 365 days Careline to allow us to support client’s requirements to respond to emergency call outs or customer and general public enquiries across all our Utility services.
As members of the UK Customer Service Institute we are committed to enhanced customer service experience for our clients and their end-customers.
In addition to our Utilities engineering and maintenance capabilities, Kier Group offer procurement services that can benefits to our clients and access to a wealth of major project and programme management through the wider Kier Group.
We also work alongside our customers to share our knowledge of new and emerging technologies, including at the MVV Umwelt energy from waste plant in Devonport which produces heat the power from incinerating household waste collected from across south west Devon.
