M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions are currently looking to recruit an experienced Plant & Vehicle Fitter (Workshop based) in our Satellite depot in Rhyl, North Wales.
As a Plant & Vehicle Fitter you will be part of the M Group Service Plant & Fleet Solutions Service Team who is responsible for the on-site maintenance and repair of Plant and Equipment and vehicles.
As the Plant & Vehicle Fitter your duties & responsibilities will be:
¢ Responsible for the workshop location in Rhyl, North Wales. ¢ To repair and maintain a fleet of Contractors Plant / Tools & Equipment / Specialist Utilities Equipment and Vehicles, in our workshop in North Wales. ¢ Ensure that all repair and maintenance activities are completed to the required quality standards and comply with current legislative requirements. ¢ Ensure that all MOT pre-work, services, inspections and tests are completed within given timescales. ¢ Manage the On /Off / Exchange of equipment in the Workshop, including sending paperwork and PDA information to the Hire Desk. ¢ Carry weekly audits of stock held and ensure the security of assets in the depot. Update the CSC / Hire desks as required. ¢ Work to deadlines, with a flexible approach to working, mobile and site based working. ¢ Ensure that all M Group Services PFS HSEQ policies and procedures are adhered to, adopting a safe method of working, logging and completing jobs on your electronic devices.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
¢ Plant/ Vehicle apprenticeship or recognised qualification, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent ¢ Ability to work unsupervised ¢ Experience in a similar role ¢ Determination to produce a good quality service ¢ Excellent communication skills
