Due to exciting growth opportunities for the UK Digital team driven by internal digitisation, SMART metering and Energy Services like Electric Vehicles the UK Digital Team requires additional multi-disciplinary support across our digital transformation platform.

ScottishPower is looking for a number of Developers to join our growing agile scrum team of Digital pros and Lead Developers to bring your experience and passion to mentor a team to deliver on creative projects based in our state of the art office in Glasgow City Centre  €“ including the following specialist areas:  

  • Full-stack js,
  • Java
  • iOS
  • Android

We are looking for individuals with a desire for all things tech and your digital vision to deliver creative solutions at a significant time to create products and service roadmaps using the latest tools and technology to transition our Retail world into the future.   Additionally we are interested in hearing from flexible individuals with broad experience in the following areas:

  • Delivery focus within a commercial digital environment
  • Specialist knowledge in Digital/Web or Customer Services business areas
  • Understanding of Commercial and Regulatory impact on self-serve/online customer service, marketing and sales
  • Develop apps using the latest technologies
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies
  • Sound organisational, leadership and time management skills
  • Driven by working on innovative projects like IOT
  • Detailed understanding of the latest version control tools
  • Problem solving to meet challenging business and customer digital needs
