Location: Perth or Glasgow Salary: £31,500 – £40,000 depending on skills and experience + excellent benefits + car/cash allowance + annual bonus Permanent Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available The Role As an Assistant Estates Manager you will be directly involved in the development and construction of projects that will expand our portfolio of assets. You'll assist in the negotiation of all types of legal land rights required for the successful delivery of a variety of renewable energy projects, and manage landowner relationships throughout project development and construction phases. You'll support the delivery of project specific land assembly strategies, which ensure the land rights being secured meet the technical specifications and engineering requirements of the project, making sure they are aligned with the planning consent and environmental constraints and can be delivered within a defined project programme. Your Skills and Experience We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and organisational skills and a high attention to detail. You'll be working in teams with a diverse skill set, so excellent communication skills will be essential, allowing you to provide a first class service to internal and external project stakeholders on a variety of levels, and meet demanding timescales. You should have basic knowledge of legal land rights and rural property matters in relation to agriculture or forestry. An understanding of land valuation, compensation principles for the purchase and lease of land, environmental legislation and statutory and environmental constraints would be advantageous, as would experience in electricity or the renewables industry. You will be expected to meet landowners and or their agents on site in locations throughout the UK, therefor a full valid driving license and ability to work away from the office base, with occasional overnight stay is essential.
