Location: Eurocentral (Motherwell) Salary: £31500 to £47,900 plus bonus depending on skills and experience Permanent Full Time Hours 37 hours per week Our Role As Process Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development of the Continuous Improvement Programme within the Financial Operations business area. You will join a CI hub team of Lean Six Sigma professionals working collaboratively across the business area to identify and deliver real, measurable, operational and financial improvements that ultimately lead to increased business quality and efficiencies and minimise cost expenditure and wastage. Reporting to the Lean Delivery Manager, you will support the delivery of Lean CI projects through the identification and prioritisation of improvement initiatives, development of robust business cases, development of process improvement methodology, performance tracking, process reengineering and effective recruitment and training Your Skills and Experience •You will have an excellent understanding of Business Change and implementation methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, MSP, APM and Prince2 as well as demonstrable experience of delivering successful Continuous Improvement projects that involved a multiple range of diverse, high volume, strategic change initiatives •You will be accountable for renewing and understanding external best practices and changes in technology as well as ensuring any changes to E2E process design are suitably recorded and updated. You must therefore have strong organisational awareness with the ability to operate with confidence and credibility across all functions of the organisation as well as a proven track record of delivering strategic changes or process improvement programmes within a large corporate environment. •Your vision, drive, ambition and tenacity will be key to your success combined with your excellent communication and facilitation abilities, which will enable you to engage successfully at all levels of the organisation. •Knowledge of Financial Operations processes, appropriate legislation, regulations, policy and procedures Our Company We all have different skills here at SSE and thats what makes us stand out.
