A degree/equivalent level qualification and a relevant professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least 1 to 2 years post-qualified accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP Accounting systems and processes.
Very good technical accounting skills.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
IT literate, with Excel being a prerequisite.
Proactive approach to problem solving.

This is a high profile accounting role that will give you exposure to our accounting practices and the chance to get to know and work with our colleagues from our shared service centre in Cluj, Romania. You’ll work within our Finance department at E.ON and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of our financial statements. This role includes production of statutory accounts for a number of legal entities and you’ll ensure that these statutory reports and financial statements are technically correct and in accordance with E.ON accounting practices and International Financial Reporting Standards. You’ll also ensure the financial statements comply with the relevant UK tax requirements through liaising with our internal Tax team.
