FCC Environment, part of the FCC Group, have an immediate requirement for an experienced Administrator to work from our site at Conisbrough.

About the Administrator role

Reporting to the Transport Manager our Administrator will be responsible for providing an efficient customer focused administrative support function for the BDR contract and management/supervisory teams.   You should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the ability to communicate at all levels.

Our Administrator duties will be to:

  • Maintain clear and accurate records to monitor the successful delivery of the Contract and provide evidence on legislation and compliance
  • Production and distribution of monthly reports
  • Maintenance of filing systems, training records and Health and Safety notices
  • Raising and receipting purchase orders, new supplier set ups etc
  • Accurate recording of minutes from internal / external meetings
  • Support the HWRC sites with IT support
  • General office duties including telephone answering, post, queries and stationery management
  • Produce and communicate media documents such as newsletter, health and Safety statistics and recycling figures
  • Data Entry

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the waste industry and related paperwork preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience using IT systems for a range of tasks such as raising purchase orders and invoices
  • Producing and creating reports and statistics
  • Working with systems and processes including how to improve and modify them
  • Customer service
